Turmeric Pumpkin Spice Latte

This pumpkin spice latte is creamy, slightly sweet, vegan, caffeine free, low-sugar and perfectly pumpkin-y. Is there any autumn beverage better than a PSL?

Ingredients

  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 & ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice (I like the Simply Organic brand)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Dash black pepper
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan. Whisk to combine (I like to use a little hand held electric froth-er for this step, but it can be done with a hand whisk as well). Heat until warmed to drinking temperature (about 5 minutes). 
  • Serve immediately with a dash of additional pumpkin spice for garnish (optional).
