Beets-- ya either love 'em or hate 'em and I fall firmly into the LOVE camp. When the first No Juicer Juice was born, she was decidedly green, with nary a beet in sight. But as soon as I had the no juicer method down pat, I knew I needed a pink babe in my life and started pondering a beet-based blender juice.
Now, after a little bit of experimenting (I actually nailed this recipe on the first go-round, but have been enjoying her all week), I'm ready to introduce you to the newest member of the No Juicer family.
If the previous No-Juicer juices have been a bit fibrous for your liking, this lass may change your mind. The veg in this juice are soft and yield a shockingly juice-y consistency with zero straining.
You'll find her:
- Slightly but perfectly sweet
- Refreshing
- Excellent for your menstrual cycle (beets are rich in iron, a mineral that can be depleted while you bleed)
- Ridiculously easy to whip up
- Smooth and juice-y like YEAH!
