I firmly believe anyone can cook (and cook well) with only a few items. Namely, a good cutting board, a sharp knife, and a few pots and pants. The rest is just (forgive the food pun) gravy. Here, I’ve shared a mix of my must-haves (I’m forever espousing the merits of Shun knives and the Boos butcher block), but also some of the items that make my day-to-day a bit more enjoyable (hello InstantPot and microplane). I’ve also included some of the dish ware that makes eating more of a pleasure in our household because if you’re not finding joy in eating the food you cook, what’s the point!?
